Sintaxis Spanish Language Center offers excellent language courses for non native speaker. It was founded, the 26th of July 2000 in Quito - Ecuador from Enrique Gúzman (EC) who manage the school in Quito and Félix Etienne (CH).

The intentions of the foundation is to offer our help and support to the communities who have poor economic resources in Ecuador through donations, sharing and interchanging knowledges and experiences about development and social aid through the spanish teaching.

To achieve this goal the Spanish Language School Sintaxis was founded. Through the Language School we can offer the Spanish teaching for students of nacionalities. Through our work with several partner projects in social aid we can offer additional services, such as volunteer opportunity to our students. This opportunity offers additional training and practice in the Spanish language and it is a great benefit for all of us.

What does Sintaxis mean?

The basics for to experience and to learn new cultures is always tha language. Sintaxis is the Spanish expression for "Syntax" which is a grammatical expression for the construction of phrases.

We are a friendly, organized and open hearted foundation. Our students should get back home with the real southern american impression.

Enrique has over 12 years of experiences in teaching Spanish to non native speaker. He was born in Ecuador and knows the country and the culture very good. As noone else he is able to inform competent about possible excursions and travel destinations within Ecuador.

Students keep in mind his way of teaching and the fast learning process thei've experienced at Sintaxis.

Currently Enrique studies tourism as part-time study at the university of Quito. In spring 2004 he will get his degree which will help us to work on new projects with Sintaxis.

Félix is the contact person for Europe. He answers all inquieries through the web from Zürich.

1997 he met Enrique the first time while he was travelling. Enrique was his Spanish teacher.

Every now and then Félix travels to Ecuador which he calls his seccond home place. Here he visits Enrique and his family. Further he can always benefit from the excellent properties of Enrique who want him to improve his Spanish with some extra lessons.
